"Spring": Poem
62A couple of days ago, I went to a local park to meditate and reflect on where I am in life, and where I want to be when suddenly I became inspired to write a poem. I immediately went to the bookstore, and purchased "How-to" books about creative writing. Within one day, I wrote my first poem, simply titled "Spring."
The second season of the year, which is Spring,
Creates wonderful feelings inside of me,
And the joy and happiness a season can bring,
Is amazing and wish the season could forever be
Withered flowers suddenly blossom with life,
The birds are singing a new song,
The squirrels are gathering nuts without strife,
This kind of peace among humans is something I long
Doves of the heavens spread their wings and fly,
So graciously, without worry, fear, or care
As they effortlessly glide through the blue sky,
Oh, if only I had wings, I would fly elsewhere!
For a season to conjure up emotions is an awesome thing,
That's why I love the second season, which is Spring.

for a first poem this is excellent. Very nice rhyme and words with meanings of what spring feels like. I was in the park myself. Nice, very nice.
Perfect!

I can see spring, I can hear spring, I can taste spring.
Spring is very beautiful.
